Keetoowah Cherokees Host Fun Run
Tahlequah, Okla. -- The United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma will host a 5K and 2K Fun Run on Saturday, October 4 as part of the 58th Annual Keetoowah Cherokee Celebration. The run will be held in downtown Tahlequah, and will be a sanctioned race.
Registration for the run begins at 6:15 a.m. through 6:45 a.m. and will be held at the NSU Track parking lot. Start time is 7 a.m. and the entry fee is $12. Medallions made by Cherokee Artist Robert Lewis will be awarded to the top three runners in the men's and women's categories age 14 and older.
