RICH IN TRADITION, STRENGTH FOR THE FUTURE
he United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma would like to invite you to join us as we celebrate the 58th Annual Keetoowah Cherokee Celebration in historic Tahlequah, Oklahoma. This year's festivities will be held at the Keetoowah Cherokee Celebration Grounds located on the tribes 80 acre development on west Willis Road.
The celebration in October will include a parade, Chief's State of the Nation address, free traditional meal, gospel singing, a powwow, and various children's activities, including a turtle race and fishing derby.
Traditional games competitions will also be held including marbles, blowgun, corn stalk shoots and, of course, stick ball. Also taking place will be a three-on-three basketball competition, horse shoes, and volley ball.
