Keetoowah Cherokee Language Classes Begin in Tahlequah, Nine Other Communities
The United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma will begin another series of free Keetoowah Cherokee Language Classes in ten area communities. The class in Tahlequah will be held at the Elm Tree Baptist Church on Mon. & Tues. Oct. 6 and 7 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and will run for on Monday and Tuesdays for 5 weeks. The instructor will be D. J. McCarter. Other classes will be held in the following locations, and will run on a weekly basis for 10 weeks.
